Every Action Leaves a Trace
Social Entrepreneurship, Empowerment and Cohesion Project Notes || April, 2024
Everything that Moves Changes
At this time of year, we are observing the transformation of nature. The potential energy that has been resting for some time within the plants is activated. This inner movement ripens the fruits and multiplies the leaves. Nature is in motion. And we know that we have the same energy of motion because of our nature. When the time for change comes, an irrepressible desire to move begins, and this desire ends in change. Everything that moves is changing.
But what drives us to move? Beliefs, ideas, obligations, sometimes the excitement of moving forward together, the determination to keep a promise, and sometimes the awareness of taking responsibility.
Whatever the reason, we need an environment of trust to take action. This month, we started signing contracts with our companions who want to start their own business and supporting them to create an environment of trust. This is the season for taking action and turning dreams into reality.
Move of the Pen Leaves a Mark
Movement is the expression of the human desire to write one's own story. If we were a pen, the line we leave behind as we complete our path would be our signature on this life. A signature that sometimes slows down, sometimes gets complicated, but must be signed.
Just as each person's story is unique, each person's signature is a sign of their own mark. That's why every story, every signature are different. The important thing is to know what kind of signature we are leaving.
Everything Starts with Trust
We look for a sense of trust as the basis of all the contracts we make with life. Like children who are afraid of falling, we want to hold someone's hand tightly. The SEECO project extends its hand to those who want to leave their mark on the path of change and transformation with the assumption that every change starts with trust.
According to research, trust in a person or a project depends on three factors: sincerity, logic and empathy.
When we interact with a person who sincerely presents their own reality, we feel a sense of trust. If his talents, knowledge and skills are sufficient and mature, our logic accepts him. If he or she is able to communicate empathically with us, if he or she is able to embrace our sorrows and joys as his or her own, trust is automatically built. 1
We want to feel this environment of trust not only in our family and friendship circles but also in our business environments. We look for the trinity of sincerity, logic and empathy in our laws, contracts and business partnerships.
This month, we started signing contracts with our grant beneficiaries, and empathy is at the heart of the SEECO project. We are a team of dozens of people who communicate empathetically while listening to the needs and expectations in our meetings with our potential beneficiaries, in our interviews with our beneficiaries, and participating in the field. We ensure that entrepreneurial candidates benefit from our know-how to open new paths. We believe that social entrepreneurship is about making a mark. As the SEECO Project team, we are working to leave a mark on society.

How Should We Leave a Mark?
They say, ‘don't go where the road takes you.’ Go where there is no road so that you leave a trace. In other words, do not stay where you are comfortable, where you know, and where you are sure. Face your fears with courage. Try the new, explore the unexplored. We don't have to discover new worlds, but we should never stop exploring the worlds within us. We need to keep trying new things, taking initiatives, getting help, giving support, working hard, getting out of our comfort zone, and taking action.
